The Dual Fluid Reactor: a vision for Europe?

In March 2013, a patent application was filed by Armin Huke (DE), Gotz Ruprecht (DE), Ahmed Hussein (CA), Konrad Czerski (DE) and Stefan Gottlieb (DE).

Does this mean there are plans of actually developing a real Dual Fluid Reactor? This is a question I am currently investigating.
